Pros

Ability to work from home, some very talented pool of co workers!

Cons

Account Execs are not respected. Too many levels of management that are always in meetings and can't take your calls. My boss never called me back and never defended the team or acted as an advocate for her staff when help was needed. Work load was unbearable and the client service non existent. Not fair to staff or customers . No chance for advancement, sometimes not even an annual review. My opinion is based on years of experience and not sour grapes..it just never got better over time, as hoped. If you enjoy this...this is your place!

Pros

Work from home at times. You get health insurance but your total deductibles and copays are astronomical.

Cons

What was once a fun place to work has been muted by the World acquisition, owned by venture capital. Pay, raises and bonuses are below average. Now, because of the unmanageable workload, if you once considered yourself a hard worker, proud of your work ethic, consider it gone. Your extra hours mean nothing. People in your office will cry because of the stress and you will hear of offices where everyone has up and left - that work has to go somewhere. Your coworkers, if not your friends, will become resentful towards you for no reason other than workload stress. If you tell management, their reply is “the numbers work.” Your self-esteem erodes. If you once wrote business with your favorite companies, you are now limited and many of those relationships were probably built up over years. Consider them gone. You can go along in their quest to be number one, but how much do you value yourself?

Pros

I do not have any at the moment.

Cons

There's a glaring absence of work-life balance, making it nearly impossible to maintain a healthy separation between professional and personal life. Also, leaving at 5 p.m. is frowned upon. The expectation to work late also lacks any compensation or even basic provisions like meals, leaving employees feeling undervalued and overburdened. Even taking a brief 30-minute lunch break is met with disapproval, often resulting in hurried desk-side meals or sacrificing breaks altogether. Transparency is a foreign concept here, as upper management remains detached from the workforce, leaving employees in the dark and unable to obtain straightforward answers, the company was also misleading during the hiring process. Have to be in the office for 5 days a week, hybrid work is a foreign concept here. Corporate politics also runs rampant, further complicating the work environment.
