      Great co-workers, executive leadership lacking

      Pros

      The best part of my experience at World Pantry were the relationships I made with my co-workers. Ultimately we bonded over the dysfunction at World Pantry. We decided to be supportive of each other because our leaders were not going to provide the support. My best advice for anyone looking for employment at World Pantry is if you need a job and this is your only choice go into the place knowing that there are a lot of issues.

      Cons

      Leadership and culture is sorely lacking. Leaders often spend more time covering up their inadequacies and blaming people than actually getting things done. Often decision making is opaque and undecipherable.

      Pros

      Awesome manager and CMO. Did not work with other leadership much, but worked well with the rest of the team. Had the opportunity to wear many hats and learn different functions. Was able to go from contract to full-time within 6 months. The company did offer overtime for hourly employees. Plenty of team bonding moments. A great first professional job experience.

      Cons

      Days could stretch on with last-minute changes -- that could be looked at as a positive for those looking for overtime.
