Pros

Management is very dedicated to their jobs and is open to ideas. The products are interesting and you can learn more about items you never heard of. I met some nice, hard working people there.

Cons

Technology is antiquated and there is pressure to increase short term sales at the expense of longer term growth. Management is not transparent to partners and the pay is very low with little benefits for employees.

Pros

World Pantry is a great place for career growth and quick impact. It is a growing company that offers opportunities to learn and take on greater responsibilities. It was a pretty ideal starting place for my career. The main benefits I saw: - Smart and invested coworkers: People have a wide range of experience across industries, starting many interesting and challenging discussions. These people care! - Fast paced workplace: Best described as a "test and learn" environment, where you can roll out a program or new idea and see if it works. - Personal growth: If an area in your field interests you, there's a good chance you can explore that pathway at World Pantry. - Small team: This is not a large, impersonal organization. Your odds of sitting next to a founder or a new employee are about equal. - Smart leadership: I haven't worked at a place where the leadership is as unified or on point as WP's.

Cons

- Fast pace: The teams are small and there is a lot to do. It takes a while to get in the flow and it's not for everyone. - Long hours: People are routinely putting in 45-55 hrs/week. - Systems: Some of the programs/solutions used were either outdated or frustrating to use. - Compensation was not great relative to the market.

Pros

A lot of free fee. Some very nice people work there.

Cons

Senior managers are not open to change. No formal process for promotions or salary increases. Very set in their ways.
