      Great Mission, Complex Organizational Structure

      Pros

      The people are very mission driven and many of them are highly educated and experienced in the field of international development.

      Cons

      Some of the managers are constantly worried about reorgs, and politics in the organization that they neglect to invest in new hires and younger staff members. My experience has left me with a poor view of WVI communications and marketing. Unfortunately, not every team values talent, skills, and passion. However, there are other intern managers that truly care about the professional development of their interns-- they are fantastic!

      Deep care for children in need around the world. Strong knowledge of how to fight poverty. Love of Christ.

      Could do a bit more for children in the U.S.
