International Travel, committed people, values driven mission, ambitious goals, good people, great work life balance and solid leadership structure

Cons

Some elements of the organization (particularly in the US) are overly religious and the office is not very forward thinking in this regard... but in international offices it is much more open

Strong and ethical values, great social teaching, great atmosphere and family like environment, great knowledge sharing amongst peers. The place to be if you want to know how you can contribute towards poverty reduction and use your skills to help the less fortunate.

Cons

As a big organisation bureaucracy at times slows decision making on important project or programming issues affecting implementation and at times stressing out the community that is meant to be served.
