Pros

There is a lot of great people employed at this company, I haven’t met a rude one yet. Also, comes with great benefits for a cheap price. Lastly, the pay is decent for the job difficulty, the jobs are relatively easy here.

Cons

You constantly are being micro-managed even when you don’t notice it or feel like it. The mandatory OT never ends, they’re always pushing for you too come in on your off days for 8-10 hours when staffing issues fall onto the employer not the employee but here its the other way around. This causes burnout for a lot of employees which in turn brings low morale and a higher turnover rate. When you’re stuck in the doing this you feel as if you have zero work-life balance and you have no choice but to do it if you want to keep your job.

We understand the importance of work-life balance and continue to take steps to ensure we are setting expectations and policies which support the well-being of our employees. WWT is conscious of requiring overtime only when absolutely necessary. We first seek to get volunteers for shift coverage. There are times when mandatory overtime becomes necessary to support increased business activity.

Benefits are very good and are cheap!

Cons

Low income, they’ll hide how much the fair market value for one’s position is. There is a salary band, but they won’t share it. Upper management seems to be more concerned with their investments outside of the company and new leadership are younger and full of themselves.

Some supervisors will give you the shirt off their back. D&I groups Medical benefits

Cons

Removed many of the bit events that everyone looked forward too. Cutting the amount that supervisors can spend on their team. Implementing harsh micromanagement through their MES system. Pay is not based on performance. Someone hired in fresh makes the same as someone working there for years. Out of touch upper management. No way to review upper management only your direct supervisors. Snarky responses to reviews. They do not care about or pay extra for any degrees or certifications you have.

Thank you! Some team events were curtailed due to the pandemic and we anticipate this to change moving forward as things become more safe for larger gatherings. All pay increases take into consideration the employee’s individual performance. This also includes the individual employee’s overall knowledge, skills, and abilities. For more on this or any compensation related questions, please speak directly with your manager or HR representative. All employees receive an annual leadership survey which allows them to provide feedback on their manager. This same survey also allows for feedback on their senior leadership. Thanks again.
