Pros

starting with the best and working down: GREAT insurance benefits (seriously, decent insurance for 1 person for less than $30/month) ping pong tables nice people (for the most part) lots of opportunity to start with little to no experience

Cons

Over my 5+ years here, I've grown pretty tired of the core values stuff. Everyone gets very preachy about the core values/key business concepts, but it's hard to find anyone who actually puts them into practice consistently and fairly. I hate hearing the words "embrace change" because it always seems to sound like "shut up because your opinion doesn't matter" and "we're doing this whether you like it or not." Also, the "transparency" they claim to have is non-existent and they are constantly changing things when they should sometimes leave things as they are. When changes do happen, the middle management team is often misinformed of left out by upper management as to what's really going to happen or when, and upper management (especially VP's) never give real answers to why they're doing what they do. Specific example, a VP told us he "felt" a change he was making would be good, but then later said he didn't know what the team he was changing actually did and had no evidence that this change would actually be a benefit.

Thanks for providing this feedback and for your length of time with WWT. The Core Values are very important and should be taken seriously. That being said, no one likes being preached to. It's a delicate balance using them appropriately in how we interact but they shouldn't be used as an excuse when delivering difficult news. The SCA team has experienced some recent and significant changes. I understand it was well thought out but not entirely well received. Thanks again for the feedback and for your hard work.

Pros

The culture of the company is unlike anything I've ever been a part of. The employees want to be here and make a difference and it really shows. If you have the motivation and desire to move up there's room for you. Working for WWT is like having a second family you get to see when you come to work.

Cons

Sometimes the company still functions as a small organization, even though it's global. Because of the culture there tends to be a mentality of "oh, well, we'll figure it out". When in reality there's a process to be followed.
