Pros

WWT goes above and beyond to make their employees feel purposeful and appreciated. Great benefits and above market pay are part of it but the culture and people make it a place I "really" enjoy coming into every day. The executives know and understand how important it all is.

Cons

It would be nice to have a structured tool on who and where to reach out to for various IT requests during and after business hours.

Pros

WWT is a "flat organization" that empowers you and lives up to their culture. Many organizations have posters and meaningful sayings or cultural statements but WWT truly cares about their employees and the culture they have. The saying "work hard and play hard" and "...in the spirit of no surprises" are just a few pieces of the WWT DNA. The benefits are outstanding, executives and employees are genuine and easy to approach (flat org), intelligent and exude a "family feeling" in the work place/offices. If you are looking for a long term career this is a company that you can grow with in different positions and locations.

Cons

The only "con" (and I don't think it is a con) is some new employees may feel a bit overwhelmed at first. The first year is challenging but you are in a position to learn the culture and intricacies of the company. If you don't work in St. Louis that may be a challenge for some. It's just learning how to navigate the company and the new work environment.

Thanks. This is a very accurate description. Flat organization and ease of access to all leaders in the company. I agree onboarding can be overwhelming. Some describe it as trying to drink from a fire hose. That being said, I think we're making significant progress in improving this area with more investment in onboarding time and standardizing some processes (without being rigid).
