Pros

Can’t think of anything that is beneficial or nice to say about

Cons

Company is completely unorganized and incapable of making decisions. Will tell you on a Monday that you have nothing to worry about with job security and have security help you pack up you belongings and walk you to the gate on Wednesday. Company will tell you they want to retain their employees and value employees knowledge but will treat you like a criminal and escort you off site for no reason. Company doesn’t care about their employees they just say they do. Would never recommend for any kind of project builds or design. Worst company to ever work for.

Pros

Great compensation, good benefits, great employees.

Cons

My group was part of an acquisition by Worley in 2019. I was with previous employer for 14 years and went through some tough times in 2008 with market crashing but did not loose employment during that time. Once COVID hit in 2020 there were massive layoffs by Worley right before end of the year due to project curtailment by clients. Company let go of many long term employees with no regard.

Pros

Great place to get used to shift work and overtime. You get exposed to industrial production equipment and learn the basics of the plant life. Excellent plant safety.

Cons

You will definitely get exposed to that “good ol boy” favoritism and see how nepotism really plays a part in the destruction of employee moral. Rules get bent to protect the lazy and unmotivated all the time and it just creates a toxic work environment for the people that take pride in the work they do.
