Pros

Pay is above average. Work schedule is typically flexible.

Cons

Business development is dreadful. Constant reorganization of management every year. Low workload across the board. Low employee morale. Overhead rates too high. Useless layers of management that I honestly could not identify what their day-to-day tasks are. Corporate-speak in company emails and organization announcements about synergy and disfunctional silos. Constant office moves from downsizing. Benefits recently slashed 401k match and lopped a week off of accrued PTO each year.

Lack of Direction from US Corporate Leadership

I worked with some of the best colleagues I could hope for.

Cons

Following a complete overhaul of leadership at the PA center of power, very little focus or direction was given from Corporate. Poor hiring decisions in replacing that leadership lead to my departure

Pros

Nothing now. They are laying off everyone. They are loosing there best and brightest, people that have been there 20 + years. Most of these people will not go back to Worley if there is anyplace else to go.

Cons

They are sending all jobs to India or China. They don't seem to even want to try to keep people employed in Houston. They have no dept managers anymore, so when your job comes down there is nobody even trying to find a spot for you on another job. You just get told what your last day at the company is. By someone who doesn't even know you.
