Worst Company To Work For

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

- Nothing is worth it

Cons

- HIGH staff turnover because of their TWO year probation that lets them get away with anything, they will sack you after two years as ‘failed probation’ - Job is never secure, you could lose it at any time if they need to make budget cuts, etc - End up doing way more then your job title, if you dont you are not doing ‘good enough’ - Even the people with no targets, or commission, get fired - Managers do not care

Pros

Chance to make good money

Cons

If you want your creativity, passion to design and working with people to decline. Then work here!! Company strives on Hard selling, which put the customer off. It also puts you in the position where you’re constantly under pressure to call and pester each customer to buy a kitchen. Manager is quite depressing, bring personal problems to work. The staff can be quite cliquey. Manager is bias and really negative when speaking to team during briefs and one on one meetings. Manager and company will get rid of you easily during your probational period. The threshold to make commission is quite high and unrealistic. Especially if you live in an area where people do not want to spend their life saving on getting a new kitchen. The hours are very intense, if you like to spend time with your family. Just be prepared to never see your weekends and bank holidays. Every Boxing Day, you have to work 10 days in a row. Not allowed to take any holidays in December. Most importantly, there’s no point taking holidays as your figures and target will be affected and if you can’t make up for it you’ll be on the chopping block to be fired. Showroom managers have their favourite designers who sits and do the bare minimum and be given all the opportunities, while everyone else pull their weight and find their own customer. Manager will turn your Web leads off(opportunity for customer to book appointments on the website ) as a punishment for not selling enough kitchen. Lastly, wren is temporary job for most. They have a high turn over, check their stats.

Cons

Manager In Exeter branch was a poor excuse of a manager. Bullied the younger girls that work in store. Bends rules for who she likes.
