Pros

Pays well, but you won't have time or energy to enjoy it

Cons

Appalling work-life balance - I once had to open my store at 7am on Boxing day, having been there till 4pm on Xmas eve for a delivery that was promised before 12pm They'll change your job description (and therefore probation period) without notice or negotiation As a manager you're expected to be on call even on your holidays Abuse from higher management is a firm part of the culture Customer complaints are a regular, everyday part of your job, and solving them is practically impossible

Pros

Unfortunately I cannot think of any pros other than being bribed to publish this review to warn others not to work for this company and having the ability to find another job where you are respected more.........McDonalds is always hiring.

Cons

Pretty much everything. Low wage with no pay increase regardless of how long you've worked here for; expensive trips over the bridge which you don't get any allowance for; expensive and badly tasting food in the dirty canteens (there are several ants repellents on the floor as well as mice traps behind the counters); management look after themselves and no one beneath them; lack of natural light and lack of breaks makes you feel like you are leaving a prison at the end of the day; no motivation, just pushed into making as much money as possible for the company and receiving very little as wage and even smaller bonus packets each quarter.......I could go on but I don't honestly know why anyone would consider working here, all you have to do is read the truthful bad reviews and their kitchen reviews. The company enjoys turning customers into mugs
