Pros

Nice working environment and facilities,

Cons

Constant fear of contract termination - after over a year of hard work, taken into a room and informed my contract was terminated. Pleas note Glassdoor users, Wren Kitchen sent an email to the workforce asking staff to create an account with Glassdoor using their wren email address, leave a review - after you left a review you receive a £10 amazon voucher from Wren. This is why multiple good reviews appeared in March (18). You can make of this what you wish - paying for good Glassdoors reviews? Using financial reward along with using the fear of termination to receive good reviews (especially when using a wren email address)? They have an 18 months instant termination rule to avoid any comeback. To big to take on? They have and still treat both staff and customers in an awful way.

Pros

Average commission holiday pay but after that very little

Cons

An awful basic with no reward for loyalty regardless how long you have been there. Expect to work for free at times. Terrible ever changing commisson structure, this is the most greedy company I've ever worked for and designers are actually expected at times to actually pay commission back on sales while they make thousands from the sale "pure madness". Zero reward or bounus for doing your job correctly. Don't expect to earn any commission for the first 6 months.. They even take the first £200 a month away from their designers ??????? Expect to be fined hundreds of pounds from your wages if a customer changes their mind once the kitchen has been delivered.. Don't expect any support from head office they'd rather blame the designers in the showrooms. Ridiculously high staff turnover in showrooms, terrible morale, dog eat dog mentality, expect to see new managers and designer's come and go frequently.. anyone under 2 years is never safe and they'd rather fire than train staff.. designers treated as cash machine dispensers and with very little respect.. they burn management out with continuous demands. The higher senior management style is completely stale and out of date in the modern working world. They don't care about the customers purchase and only about the numbers on a monopoly make believe spreadsheet. This company prides them self on integrity and family values. This couldn't be further from the truth as apart from a handful the other hundreds of employees are just numbers. The customers experience matters very little and expect lies and to lie. I have even witnessed a senior manager telling management to help boost reviews on this site as they are so poor. The list could go on, just save your time and effort and avoid this company.

Pros

Some great designers Fantastic training Head office is impressive

Cons

Bullying culture. I witnessed many people being sacked for under performance without having received any support. Customer service was non existent. Managers tell you to not bother with customers once you have their money. Staff retention is woeful. Very few people make it past probation. Area and Regional managers appear to be unqualified to do their jobs. They were probably successful at Phone’s 4u, years ago, and have never updated their skill set since.
