Pros

+ Explosive business growth with positive future outlook - product and feature roadmap is jam-packed + Lot of autonomy and ambiguity - if you want to optimize for learning and expanding your skillset, Wyze is a fantastic company to be at. Everyone wears a lot of different hats. + Strong collaborative team - You're surrounded by really bright, driven people. It's not a cut-throat culture. Everyone works together on achieving our mission.

Cons

- Benefits/perks and pay aren't competitive compared to other tech companies/startups in the area. - Growth path is undefined. Not clearly stated how to get to promoted or move to next level without switching job functions. - Lack of transparency on equity and performance incentives - Inexperienced senior leadership - lack of concrete goals and overarching strategy, constant change in mission/vision/values and processes, poor top-down communication

Pros

• Quick decision making: Wyze is growing extremely quickly and always adding new faces (which is an awesome thing to see), but it means the team is getting bigger. In many companies, this would mean decision making slows down and incurs more red tape. But at Wyze, all employees are empowered to make decisions on their own or consult with their direct manager to make impactful decisions. Things get done quickly at Wyze • High-impact projects: Wyze is a disruptive company and while still young (at 2 years old at the time of this review), it has climbing revenue, partnerships, and users. This means the work of each team is always evolving and touching more things and the work you do will not only be seen by millions but will impact millions. • Fun: Wyze prides itself on creating a fun and inclusive work environment. They hire the best and maintain that standard when interviewing new candidates. Wyze knows how to work hard and also knows when to take a break to celebrate. E.g., Team river rafting in Leavenworth, corn maze at the local pumpkin patch, or one-million user party at a local music lounge. • Enormous room and opportunity for personal growth: Because Wyze is young and growing so fast, there is a tremendous opportunity for personal growth and development. Wyze is blazing the trail for new marketing thought leadership and disrupting what it means to form a connection with users. You'll learn a ton just by working with awesome like-minded people •Venture-backed: Wyze closed a $20M Series A in December 2018 meaning they've received funding to sustain the business and will use that to grow and launch new products.

Cons

• Location: If you're a Seattle city-dweller, you'll have to commute. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you have a bike and get into cycling :)
