Since joining the company in 2017, I have been most impressed with a number of aspects of XPO. The culture of the company places a strong emphasis on engagement and a strong team ethic. It also encourages you to develop a passion for customer service. We continually strive to give the customer an outstanding service, and this passion is demonstrated by the team. Going the extra mile ensures that we are never complacent about our customer choosing to give us their business. This is extremely important in an ultra competitive market in which retailers are facing unprecedented pressure on their margins, and consequently are looking to maximise value. Another aspect of working for XPO that impresses me is their willingness to let colleagues learn from their mistakes, which are treated as a learning opportunity, rather than behaviour to be punished.

Cons

Retail is a very fast paced environment, and can be pressurised, which may not be to everyone's taste.

Great career prospects. opportunity to grow with in the business. Wide array of course available to help develop a career.

Cons

Quite difficult to get an answer quickly sometimes. New policies are not always filtered correctly.

I have only been with XPO for 2 months, however my experience so far has been professional, supportive and very friendly. Prior to me starting the Recruitment team made me feel part of the XPO team. Communication is good and there seems to be lots of opportunities to develop and progress if wanted. Really pleased I accepted the role.
