8yNo regular employee is denied maternity leave, which is 6-8 weeks depending on natural birth or C-section.
Parental leave and FMLA are a different story. FMLA is government regulated, and an employee must be employed for 12 months as a full-time regular employee. The corporate policy on Parental Leave is that an employee must be be full-time or part-time regular for one year as well. Unfortunately there is no wiggle room on those two policies.
