The market has an obvious need for the product The product is mature with a committed team enhancing it The general team overall is supportive Management allows your to operate autonomously - they trust you to get the job done Everyone is very professional and courteous You can tell the company focuses on hiring A players

Cons

The company is coming out of a turnaround so many people are new As with any small and evolving company - there are growing pains. Make sure you like autonomy and can build your own success

Good exposure to thought-provoking problems. Environment encourages self initiatives, and ownership where there's a demand to solve an issue. Room to collaborate cross-functionally, and diversify scope

Cons

Often lack of data maturity, or availability across systems. Prevents progressive projects that can improve interpretability of metrics relevant to a functions priority - like Churn for the Client Success Function.

Excellent, hands-on training from day one Colleagues are genuinely helpful and always make time for questions Given ownership of big projects early on, great for growth Fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged Exposure to the latest technologies Small company size means broad exposure across projects and functions Strong fintech culture and energy Constant learning opportunities

Cons

Being a smaller company, resources can occasionally be stretched thin across projects, though this hasn't led to working late hours, just one instance where extra help wasn't available despite everyone's willingness to support. (Quite frankly can't think of a Con and this comment is a stretch. )
