Pros

Amazing people that work there, very collaborative environment. Great opportunity for growth and improvement in a growing industry. Leadership in some departments are questionable but the CEO is a very humble and great person as well as some of the other managers.

Cons

Poor compensation. I got offered double my salary before I left and Xceptor were not willing to even up my salary more than 5% to stay LOL. You could’ve retained my talent and knowledge for a fraction of the cost required to train someone to my level. Makes no sense that they allowed this. Senior management had too much influence on these decisions. Glad they restructured their management later down the line.

Pros

Pleasant workplace, the teams and people are generally willing to help one another. Xceptor has great potential in terms of growth. Challenging and demanding environment but not unreasonable.

Cons

Attrition rate is on the high side. Too much focus on rolling out new features or chasing market hype, improvement to existing capabilities is pretty lacklustre.

A strong supportive culture amongst peers, flexible work arrangements, relatively flat structure, innovation is encouraged, fun social events.

Cons

High workloads, rapid growth growing pains (comms and process issues), high turnover causing 'brain drain'.
