Worst company to get into

Business Outlook

Pros

If you get the project then you client handle everything so thats a pro

Cons

1. No ethics 2. Poor management 3. Culture is all disturbing 4. Negligible job security If you join as a fresher they train you in some particular stack, then if the projects come they allocate you which is very very rare thing. Majority of the projects are frozen or are revoked my other companies and they have introduced new policies for bench which says if you are on bench for 30 days, exit procedure will start. And majority of thr folks don't even get an opportunity to give client interviews. They are just forced to give resignations. And this is happening in xoriant with not only freshers but with experienced engineers with 5+ years of experience as well. Think 100 times before getting into this company.

Pros

flexible working hours only 7.5 hours of work in a day. Citi Project working all the time. weekend work like release and change deployment is also there. no comp off or extra salary for working on weekends. week days connect at 9:00 AM and work till 11:00 PM based on project needs is required. free Tea and Coffee, snacks in pantry free work from home xoriant management is nice good training by lnd hr is ok on time salary

Cons

No Job security. Firing is common if client management does not like you citi bot project only running in chennai. non-citi projects are not in chennai office so if u r released from project for performane issue then u have to go to to pune or diff location only. bench concept nt there in chennai office. project wise interview is common even after clearing technical codility test and many interview rounds. if u fail in the project wise interview rounds then u r not assigned to that project and need to attend interview for other project Citi sometimes treats badly and treats us as Vendors. no proper KT or documentation given but expect work to be delivered. management not supportive and does not address issue. Some projects have latest tech. some have old tech only core java. ur luck which project ur assigned. be prepared to learn and deliver code on non related tech No Earned Leave and Casual Leave policy only 2 leaves are credited for each month

Pros

hike when you join. its only a facade.

Cons

local language speaking people given preference for good profile, projects , appreciation and promotion. non language people are harrased to the extent they assume its better to leave as soon as they join. attrition increasing as these "people" are forcing others to leave and showing as they are doing everything themselves . no good projects, better to join some Good MNC even if they pay a bit less, at least you can work and learn few things
