Pros

The company is always in a chaotic state of growth, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills.

Cons

Many of the problems at FieldEdge stem from leadership. Promotions are based on office politics instead of experience and work ethic. Leadership likes to call the company a family, but there’s a clear divide between the "inner circle" and everyone else. HR is pure optics at this point. They’ll turn a blind eye to employee concerns and inappropriate employee-manager relationships. Senior leadership thinks the solution to these issues is to have more meetings, but that doesn’t get to the core of the problem. The toxic environment will always be pervasive unless they change who they put in charge.

Thank you for taking the opportunity to share your feedback. I was particularly concerned about issues raised in relation to HR as I can assure that a blind eye is never turned to any accusation brought forward. All accusations are investigated and acted upon immediately, however with that said I could understand why this may be perceived differently given that all investigations are conducted and addressed privately to protect the individuals involved. If there is a specific situation you feel has not been addressed, I would highly encourage you to reach out to me directly at bware@fieldedge.com so I can investigate further. We have developed internal career paths within each team that outline opportunities for growth and provide metrics for attainment. Our goal is to share cross-functional career paths with the entire organization in the coming months. Please keep in mind, all position opportunities are posted internally and externally noting the responsibilities and expectations of those roles; therefore, if an employee is interested in another opportunity within the organization, they should follow the process of applying for such role.

Be weary of positive empty reviews

Pros

Company is constantly growing, you can make something of it if you can stand the cons.

Cons

You should sort by lowest ratings, there are a lot of really good examples of what I am about to say. This place isn’t a tech job, they don’t pay market rate nor do they train you how to actually work in a software company. It’s the good ole boys club with a desire to promote people who look the part. Lots of questionable relationships with managers and employees that everyone can see, but no one acknowledges. The leadership in the organization is focused on how they can look the best to everyone who doesn’t work there, but really care nothing for the people who are there today. In fact, you will probably see a flurry of positive reviews after this is posted, that’s because they care more about their glassdoor rating than employee retention. Be weary of what you see. Go to LinkedIn and see all the people who have left and how long they were there, not many people make it past a year or so because it’s not a place that you can grow and develop in.

I want to reiterate that we do not condone these types of behaviors and aim to provide a safe and trusting environment for all of our team members. Again, we are truly sorry you have had this experience and will do everything we can to address these concerns. In regards to the turnover, our current turnover rate within the Field Services vertical of Xplor is well below industry averages with strong tenure across the division. While we would love to say we have zero turnover, we do understand our rapid growth environment is not for everyone. We have experienced higher than average turnover in our Sales Development function which your comment may be referencing. We are currently working with department leadership to implement changes to address this issue as a top priority.
