Pros

The direct managers and leaders I had were amazing, as were my team members. There are so many incredibly talented people across the company.

Cons

Cross team communication is non-existent and documentation is… lacking. They go through upper management people like there’s no tomorrow, there’s a new “higher-up” person there too often, making questionable decisions. There is no sense of security and stability anymore, you get to work not knowing what the new person will decide or who to fire on that given day. Decisions seem to be made with a magic 8 ball.

Pros

Company is in the process of globalization which offers lots of opportunity on different projects

Cons

- Company still finding its way to streamline processes; NZ culture started to disappear and culture starting to become more western. - For some, there are a number of off working hours meeting due to overseas colleagues but this highly depends on the role and projects you work on

Pros

Great team depending on the team/product you get to work with, remote work or flexible hybrid if you live near an office, management is pretty hands off if that's your work style

Cons

Poor leadership, inconsistencies between the product teams and countries despite years into merger (if you talk to staff or ask how they like their job you will get HUGE differences in reviews based on which offering they work for), HR is terrible, sneaky company (make sure you triple check your paystubs, vacation balances, etc.), unsupportive management. Majority of clients are miserable, trying to get out of contracts and RFPs - don't see much longevity (they're lucky there aren't many competitors for clients to switch to in Canada).
