Pros

The cons outweigh any pros this company may offer by a 1000 to 1 so nothing to add here.

Cons

Xplor Recreation: A Masterclass in Corporate Dysfunction Welcome to Xplor Recreation (formerly ChampionsWay, PerfectMind, and whatever they decide to call it next year when they try to bury their bad reputation again). I highly recommend you reading the reviews of those brands too in order to get a full picture of what’s happening here as the core issues have been embedded in the body of this 27-year-old company. If you’re looking for a company that values innovation, respects employees, and fosters career growth… well, keep looking. Management: A Comedy of Errors Imagine a boardroom filled with people who have absolutely no idea what they’re doing but still insist they’re the smartest in the room. That’s Xplor’s leadership in a nutshell. The company's strategy is about as coherent as a toddler’s finger painting, and decisions are made with all the foresight of a goldfish planning a long-term investment strategy. The only real innovation here is how frequently they change the company name in a desperate attempt to escape bad Glassdoor reviews. Career Growth: You’ll Grow… in Frustration Want a promotion? That’s adorable. Xplor doesn’t promote based on talent or hard work—they use a sophisticated selection process known as "random chance and favoritism." If you’re a yes-man who enjoys bootlicking and nodding along to terrible ideas, you might get ahead. Otherwise, prepare to be stuck in career purgatory, watching incompetent people climb the ladder while you handle their mess. Work-Life Balance: Spoiler Alert – There Is None If you enjoy being micromanaged, overworked, and underappreciated, congrats! You’ve found your dream job. Xplor will happily dump a truckload of work on you while pretending to care about your well-being. Burnout is not just common here—it’s practically a company value. They’ll tell you they’re “like a family,” which is true if your idea of family is being exploited by people who gaslight you into thinking they’re doing you a favor. The main culprits are the leadership team and that includes both the internal ones and the external ones from the parent company Xplor Technologies that have destroyed every brand they own. Compensation & Benefits: The Real-Life Definition of "Bare Minimum" Expect a salary so low that even inflation pities you. Asking for a raise is a journey in futility, much like trying to explain cryptocurrency to your grandparents. The benefits package is an insult to the word “benefits.” You might get the occasional free coffee, but don’t count on anything that actually improves your quality of life. Company Culture: Corporate Stockholm Syndrome Xplor’s culture is what happens when mediocrity, paranoia, and delusion have a baby. Management loves sending out emails about “exciting changes,” but the only real change is the turnover rate, which is mainly caused by continuous layoffs on a seasonal basis. Over the past few years well over half of the company head count has been laid off in an attempt to “restructure the work force” but the actual culprits in the leadership roles causing all the issues still get to keep their jobs and keep increasing their own bonuses and salaries. And the layoffs are across all the brands owned by Xplor Technologies so no one is safe regardless of how well you have done in your role. Many individuals that have been let go all had years of experience with the company and all had satisfactory or exceeding satisfactory reviews annual too. The company keeps pumping out fake positive reviews online, but we all know the truth—Xplor is a dumpster fire that HR is desperately trying to Photoshop into looking like a five-star resort. Final Thoughts Unless you enjoy pointless meetings, empty promises, and the soul-crushing weight of corporate incompetence, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. Xplor Recreation isn’t a job—it’s a cautionary tale.

Hi there, We’re really sorry to hear that your experience at Xplor Recreation was so frustrating. It’s clear that you had strong feelings about your time here, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective in detail. We know that leadership plays a huge role in shaping company culture, and we take feedback about management seriously. It’s disappointing to hear that you felt there was a lack of clear direction and fairness in career growth. We want Xplor to be a place where talent is recognized and rewarded, and while we’re not perfect, we are working hard to improve how we develop and promote employees. Regarding work-life balance, we never want our teams to feel overworked or undervalued. We aim to create an environment where people feel supported, not just in words but in action. If there were specific policies or practices that made work unsustainable, we’d love to learn from that. As for transparency, we acknowledge that change has been a constant in our company’s history. That said, we want to be upfront with our employees about why changes happen, whether it’s leadership decisions or shifts in company strategy. If that wasn’t your experience, we recognize that we have work to do in making sure our communication is clear and honest. We also want to directly address your concern about fake reviews. We do not promote, request, or encourage fake reviews in any way. Every review - positive or negative - helps us understand employee experiences, and we value honest feedback. We know no company is perfect, and we believe that transparency, including critical feedback, helps us improve. We hear your frustration about layoffs and career uncertainty. Workforce reductions are always incredibly difficult decisions, and we know they affect real people who have given a lot to Xplor. With this said, we are constantly evaluating how we can build a more stable and supportive workplace where all our employees feel secure in their contributions. We know that words must be accompanied by actions to create a positive work experience. If you’re able to, we invite you to share more details about what you’ve experienced anonymously via our whistleblowing platform, so we can investigate thoroughly - https://secure.ethicspoint.eu/domain/media/en/gui/108567/index.html. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put in during your years with us, and we hope you’ve found a work environment that’s a better fit for you. Wishing you all the best in your career.
