It's gone downhill...

Pros

Fellow employees are great to work with. There are opportunities for career development here --- well, if they like you and you're "in" with the proper people.

Cons

Low moral, no work/life balance, working 40 hours is frowned upon and more is expected of you, a lot of turnover and tribal knowledge out the door, leaving those who are left with a mountain of a workload. Politics, favoritism...speak your mind and you may be reprimanded. It used to be so family oriented here, but now it's basically corporate America.

Pros

Good 401k. Some good people left but leaving at an astonishing rate

Cons

No job security. No care for employees. Has removed relational selling and depends 100% on CRM that they do not understand. Charlotte Management team has lost touch with market and employees. Prepare to be super micro managed and tracked if you take a job here. They expect you to be on the clock 100% of the time and always available to them. Prepare to be harassed and constantly checked up on. Very paranoid and fake upper management.

Pros

Excellent 401k, variety and type of customers you can work with, allows for fresh and creative ideas to drive growth. Upward mobility. Flexibility to make changes in staff to obtain the right candidates. Patrick Decker new CEO.

Cons

Slow pace of change, especially in respect to enterprise software, After the initial spin off the company it s still trying to find its footing. Restructuring was inevitable to weed out workers who were not technical enough, made too many mistakes, insubordinate, lazy....etc...There were some support staff that probably should have remained but didnt fit the organization moving forward. I would have kept those people and let them leave when they were ready. Some senior management are over their head and show depart. However, some new blood has emerged and its hopeful that good leadership will increase value for the firm.
