Pros

Benefits and compensation are fair and competitive.

Cons

A lot of good changes have been made recently, but only due to local management. Offsite corporate management makes all the final decisions, even though most of them don't even understand what is manufactured in Dallas. Local management knows what needs to happen, but are unfortunately held back by corporate. The company will never truly reach its potential until this plant is taken seriously.

Pros

The core businesses are in business sectors that are relatively stable and should be around for the long run.

Cons

Many of the managers are hired from outside sources and as such the business practices and methodologies are in a constant state of flux. Another problem this creates is a lack of understanding by managers of the daily realities of the job undertaken by the lower and mid level employees. These employees often spend more time reporting on their job than they actually spend getting to do their job.

Pros

Good company to work for especially the coworkers. Good opportunity to learn a lot in a short period of time, reasonable pay and good benefits.

Cons

Too much turnover in the last few years in upper management who are short sighted with interest for here and now, today is what matters approach with limited interest in building and improving the company for the long run. Employees are frustrated due to lack of vision and direction with constant pressure to do the impossible today.
