Pros

Some well made equipment, benefits are average for the industry. Older employees were well trained and have a lot of knowledge.

Cons

This place is structured like an upside down pyramid. There are more managers, senior managers and accountants than there are actual workers who produce income for the company. They decided to go lean. This entailed laying off productive workers who made money for the company only to allow the company to hire more managers and accountants. To many chiefs and not enough indians.. .

Pros

Nice people to work with from the mid-manager level on down. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Poor employee development and recognition for a job well done. They have the inability to function as a global organization. I have seen the transition from local to regional to global organizational structures. With each change they lack long term goals for the benefit of the entire organization. The culture is cancerous with much infighting between functional areas. This has caused employee morale to continue on a death spiral for the last five years.
