Nobody has a clue what is going on, this makes for good work life balance and time for learning new skills for your next position. Fellow co-workers (non-manager/seniors) are awesome, until seniors at Yash let go the best developers one-by-one, until you are left with those warming the bench for 1.5+ years with no experience. They will pay for certifications (unsure if still true, company organization has been dysfunctional) Few managers are very understanding and accommodating, but will be quickly overridden by seniors with no knowledge who have a problem. Pay is consistent and on-time. Yash hasnt gone bankrupt yet.

TLDR; Everything, 5/40 employees remaining since June 2019 hire. Unless you stay lucky/loud, expect endless bench periods unless you are a US Citizen, in which case they will have no problem disposing of you with vague and feedback-lacking reasoning. 5+ 2019 graduate hires have been on the bench since their start date, with the rest being let go or with new employment. Expect to work early mornings and/or late nights. This is an Indian company, American work values are not present here. Expect to be treated like a dunce after mentioning the 12-16 hour days are starting to burn developers out trying to meet unrealistic, unorganized, and poorly planned deadlines for poorly organized projects. Expect to see little/poor/zero development standards unless inheriting the clients codebase/standards. All 3 projects I have been on have consisted of developers either clueless or careless to the product being produced, often taking more time to refactor/bugfix than to write the code due to poor decisions, patterns, outdated/unsupported frameworks. Expect manipulation and neglect from HR/managers/seniors. Communication is non-existent. One work expense of $300+ was neglected for 3 months after countless emails with no response, no exit interview (non-fired). Zero feedback on performance, good or bad. Not like it matters, pay raises are like pulling teeth, poor performance is apparently tracked but no feedback is given to the employee. $600 maximum allowance given to purchase a company laptop. Good luck! Project for major Microsoft conference using complex hardware given to freshers out of college, pressured to work 12+ hour days with incorrect/incomplete tools/hardware, berated when project expectedly doesnt meet grandiose expectations. People are thrown at projects until some stick or the project fails/passes deadline. Recent BA had no clue how to gather, explain, and distribute requirements, random people will leave and join projects seemingly at random, supposed "10+ years of experience" developers that dont know what a REST api consists of, using outdated code and frameworks, incorrect/irrelevant patterns, the list goes on. No 401k match, mediocre benefits. "Training"??? If you are not Indian, dont expect to be respected or last here. Especially if you plan on continuing typical American values. "Its 8am somewhere" should be Yash's slogan. Every hour is a work hour.
