Pros

The people are really what redeems the company, and by that I mean the base level teams and managers.

Cons

The upper management is duplicitous. They offer empty praise to the hardwork and accomplishments of their sales department only to steadily phase out the team and outsource them to Manila and Cebu in the Phillipines. Their current iteration of Inside Sales did exceedingly well until management looked for a way to make a quick buck and outsourced everyone and cut the commission structure to a shell of its former self. Territories are assigned at what seems to be random selection, and are regularly shuffled and taken away from reps that have worked and developed them and handed off to Phillipino workers who then run them into the ground. The Overland Park Sales office is essentially a farm for talented sales people to prospect accounts that will generate revenue so that those accounts can be sent to the non-commission earning reps in the Phillipines.

Pros

weekly pay - no overtime required - met some nice people - cafeteria in the lower level. we can eat candy at our desk.

Cons

management more worried about happy hours and making friends than a positive work environment. raises not based on performance - which means I get the same raise as the slacker that stands around and talks. we have had to train people in India to take our jobs - which has increased our work load instead of decreasing it, as they don't GET it. Company makes you pay $5 a month to be invited to the company Christmas party....really? We bust our patooties everyday and you can't give us a Christmas party?? The pay sucks already....I can't afford to give you back $5 a month.

Pros

Benefits are "ok" at best compared to my previous employer, however my previous employer is the largest software manufacturer in the world. They have a gym that's accessible 24hrs a day. The place is relaxed and you can mess around all day long as most of us do.

Cons

EVERYTHING ELSE! The facility is old and falling apart, we have "cleaning crews" that have failed to remove boogers and snot from the walls of the men's restroom since I was hired on 4 months ago. I was hired with the belief that I would make roughly 65-70k/yr, which was inline with my previous employer, only to have nearly all my commission taken away by month 4 due to "compensation restructuring". What they fail to tell you is they are outsourcing operations to the Philipines and they moved all high dollar accounts over to them & removing nearly 70% of all of our commissions.
