      This Company is Tough

      Pros

      They're still trucking despite taking a beating over the past ten years. They've never bounced a paycheck. It's hard to get fired. They have the most tenured workforce in the business.

      Cons

      The beating the company has taken shows at nearly every level. Advancement is very unlikely. It's difficult to manage employees that are nearly impossible to fire. Highly tenured employees are more subject to complacency and stubbornness.

      Pros

      The leadership is very approachable. The headquarters generally has a ready friendly atmosphere. Not in downtown KC, so the commute is pretty easy and it has its own parking lot.

      Cons

      As an old company in an old industry, it can take some time for things that need to change to go ahead and change. There is very little diversity in the mid and upper levels of management.
