Pros
Great people, great compensation. This is a place with a lot of intelligent people from whom you can learn a lot. Work and life is well in balance.
Cons
Quick and agile decision making is no longer local. Necessary actions are delayed as they seek buy-in all the way through to the top of the organization. A lot of time and money is wasted in the process. Managers are parked and comfortable in their positions for years/decades, preventing a healthy environment of promotion.
