Pros

Really great people and a truly collaborative environment. New products and new clients keeps things from getting mundane. There is genuinely a feeling of being party of a family, coworkers care about each other and are helpful to one another.

Cons

More flexible work schedules would be appreciated - varied hours, or work from home. More generous vacation time would help. Work can be very stressful at times, clients can be demanding, and there can be an overload, yet time off is not sufficient to counteract this - unless you never get sick. Many people come to work sick, because they can't afford the time off, or can't work from home due to company policy.

Pros

Laid back, casual atmosphere. Young employees with a startup feel.

Cons

Poorly managed company. Company policies are still not in place (snow days, etc). Company structure seems amateur and in the best interest of management. Wages are very low in this company too. Company forces each new people to present slides to the entire company during quarterly meetings

Pros

Great place to start a career, great amount of job security. Super casual attire is appropriate, free coffee, and management doesn't get involved in anybody's personal business.

Cons

Very delicate, unstable software; confounds and aggravates users on a daily basis. Takes a very long time to learn, which creates daily communications with clients who are frustrated and experiencing problems. Yardi staff is forced to apologize on a daily basis. Very few advancement opportunities and many feel under-appreciated. Employees who work long hours are viewed in the exact same light as those who work few. Working from home is not an option whatsoever.
