      Not a place for marketers

      Pros

      Well established company with a great CEO. Solid benefits packages. Constant activities within company and a good work-life balance compared to other tech companies.

      Cons

      The marketing department is almost entirely focused on events and the manager while I was there was completely unsupportive. There's zero interest in innovative marketing and zero strategy is actually applied. Pair that with zero upward mobility and it's a recipe for a completely dissatisfying career.

      "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain..."

      Pros

      - A good way to learn the industry; a good company for new college graduates or for people at the end of their career. - Benefits are above average (health insurance fully paid for, good PTO)

      Cons

      - Your job satisfaction will greatly depend on your location, work group, and manager/project director. - Expect that within some groups, there will be people who pull the majority of the weight, and then slackers who don't contribute a great deal but are buddies with the manager. These are the people who will be your leads, so don't expect a great deal of leadership. - In dealing with a specific client, our project director literally told us that we didn't need to tell them the truth, that we just needed to tell the client what we wanted them to know. Literally, we were told to "distract" the client. The director said it was like the Wizard of Oz "you know, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." So just be aware that this is the kind of management mentality you are dealing with and they are treating YOU the same way. - Cult of personality around the CEO. - Pay below standard - As mentioned in other reviews, not a good company for growth/development. Best to get your experience and get out.
