      Unqualified Management with poor people skills

      Pros

      This company has been around for long time and there's stability due to owners foresight and excellent vision. lot of people have useful business knowledge and willingness to share.

      Cons

      low pay, management is not qualified with handling people skills. There is lot of cronyism due to different groups and verticals as it relates to various managers of differing experience (new vs old guard)

      Great if you don't have much ambition

      Pros

      It is a stable place and a great place for people with little experience. Overall there are nice people and smart programmers behind the company. Anant is also one of the nicest people I have worked for. Yardi dominates the property mangement space and will keep its position for many years to come.

      Cons

      small town minded -- many VP's started low in the company and it shows. Though it has gotten better over the years but still there are people with little knowledge of how the world works. Yardi doesn't believe in software marketing so a career in marketing there is not recommended.

      Pros

      Well managed. Debt free. Wildly profitable. They promote from within and really walk the walk when it comes to their company motto. Very lucky to work here.

      Cons

      Salary will always be a gripe, but I’d rather have a conservative pay and job security vs my employer paying me beyond their means and routinely doing layoffs (which is what most tech companies have been doing since 2024).
