      Pros

      Yardi has a big market share in its niche. Therefore, your job is pretty secure Good benefits - Health insurance, profit share, PTO Overall low stress level (with most teams)

      Cons

      Not much room for advancement. Very difficult to get promoted, even for high performers that have been around for years. Day to day tasks can be pretty boring. Job is definitely oversold by recruiters/interviewers. Pay is not that high compared to other tech companies. Everyone I know that has left the company is making much more elsewhere Old technology and not much opportunity to develop technical skills Bugs and other issues are very slow to be fixed. Issues I noticed when I started still happened 2 years later.

      Was contracted out to Yardi Matrix as a Market Surveyor via Partners Personnel

      Pros

      Weekly pay via direct deposit. Excellent work/life balance. I worked through Partners for Yardi Matrix doing Market Surveys. The weekly quota was easy to meet and ususally took me less than 12 hours to get my 100 surveys done.

      Cons

      Was contracted out to Yardi Matrix and was with them for almost 3 years. I went above and beyond for them. Then one bad week and they terminated me. They did not take into consideration that I had performed well for a long time. In fact, I performed so well that I was invited into their monthly stratified team. I always meet my quota of 100 surveys in less than 15 hrs. During my last week, I noticed that a property had been listed as 'No Answer' for over a month. So I looked up the property, found the right number, called and completed the survey then notified QA of the number change, new property name and Management company. This was 'Above And Beyond.' I could have simply marked it as 'no answer' an moved on like the rest of the surveyors had done but I took the extra step. I would not work as aYardi Surveyor again because they do not appreciate all that you do or how long you've been with them. I would work for Partners Personnel. They were great.

      Work/Life Balance and able to learn how to work a full sales cycle

      Cons

      Pay not as competitive unless you have a senior role. A lot of favoritism.
