Pros

Pay is excellent. Truly the job is not that hard, I have had much more stressful jobs in mental health than this one.

Cons

Corizon does not seem to care about it's employees. Insurance is horrible! PTO is horrible. You have to use your PTO for holidays, and you don't earn much of it. They do not contribute much to CEU's. They did not advocate for us at all given that we were having to come in every day during the pandemic, to a place where pretty much no one wears masks and COVID-19 continues to make it's way around the prison.
