Zim culture is WORK WORK.
The constant workload left no time for breaks and barely any time lunch.
It’s insane how there are positions here that ONLY have 2 people in a role. So, whenever my partner called out or was on vacation. I was left alone to fend for myself. Furthermore, my manager would constantly assigned me tasks that were completely out of my scope. Most days, I left work drained and stressed...and at time the point of crying. I never felt supported, valued, appreciated by Zim.
Also, training here is joke. I never received the proper training for my job. Blind leading the blind. No onboarding, no orientation day 1 started “shadowing” and straight to work.
Bullying is ignored.
Upper management belittles its employees. Never me personally, but I personally saw “senior” staff belittle coworkers. Zim did absolutely nothing about it.
No flexibility(work/life balance). One remote day, that's it no flexibility (year after employment requirement) You are Not allowed to switch remote days.
Dont provide equipment. I was REQUIRED to work out of 2 additional computer screens. When I asked for extra screen their response "We need to put an order in". I never received any screens. I had to purchase my own screens.
Lastly, but MOST IMPORTANT. My compensation was significantly lower than the market range for professionals in my field.
