Pros

Job Security. Company continues to grow. Most Management is respectful and fun to work with. Very rewarding when you look at the big picture of what the ZOLL LifeVest does and how it offers a piece of mind to patients.

Cons

Starting salary is pretty nice but a good raise is hard to come from. I personally have taken on multiple tasks to assist management and am a go to person for training and new employees. At the yearly review I was one of a few on the team of 80 (which is split to 4 teams based on area of country you cover) who received a "frequently meets all standards" rating. But when it came to raise time I was told the average of what everyone got is this amount and that is what you got. So long story short, taking on extra tasks does not benefit you unless you apply for another position internally and use them on your resume

Pros

-LifeVest is a unique product with no competition, which is good. BUT when a company has no competition, there is no incentive to improve, innovate, or sense of urgency for the customer. -Always hiring...either to replace those who left, or to split a successful territory.

Cons

-High turnover is a way of life because their mindset is that Territory Managers are easily replaceable. -I've never worked for a company that has less interest in input/advice from the sales force. -this is a 2-year (max) job because your quota increases every 2-weeks, so it quickly becomes unattainable. (Then you're replaced) -high turnover means chaos for everyone because nobody is returning the customers' calls in empty territories. That chaos spills over into all of the territories because other reps have to pick up the slack for the open territories, yet you don't get paid for those accounts. (Yes you read that right)

Pros

The Device Patient Contact Cardiologist once you have gained rapport

Cons

Where do I start?! THE CULTURE-it is the definition of what NOT to do Compensation Structure-Who can keep up with an increase in quota over $900 EVERY TWO WEEKS PTO/Sick Time/ Stat Holidays-You are given a lump sum to be used at your dispose.. this means NO stat Holidays, this also means on those days when most NORMAL people are OFF work and with their families you're expected to work OR take PTO.. this goes for sick time too Salary-it's decent.. however when you break down your take home after working a 60+ hour work week (which also includes NIGHT AND WEEKENDS <--- READ THAT TWICE!) You aren't making much! For all of you being chased to "fill" a Zoll position somewhere in the country because we all know there are plenty of vacancies to be filled here is what they won't tell you... Just because you get a device on a patient... doesn't mean you will be paid... your reimbursement will depend upon how we have contacted with the insurance provider of the patient (which you have 0 control over) this could mean 10 people placed in a LifeVest and $0 revenue for you.. this will also mean... $0 towards your continuously growing quota Here is something else they won't tell you as they are selling you on the $160k at plan blah blah blah Zoll can, at any time, take revenue away from you... meaning you have booked $20k but they take $10k back (because apparently they weren't paid) with a goal of $30k you are now $20k under goal... with 0 transparency S. Kim the CFO promised this year that negative adjustments such as those described above would be minimal.. I would venture to say the majority of TM's have NOT experienced that yet 41% Turn over rate AD's that are incapable of doing their job.. can we say blinders!!
