      Former Mom & Pop needs to grow up

      Pros

      Stable company with some good people making lifesaving products.

      Cons

      Management and HR are behind the curve and need to catch up. Operations management tries to run 100 mph in 100 directions with no conviction for any of them and have no feel for what is actually happening.

      Pros

      Decent pay, overtime was available (when they weren't going under), building is beautiful.

      Cons

      They preach advancement, but when someone wants to switch departments or move up, they are deterred. They don't care how much workload is put on someone, as long as their numbers are good. They were so secretive about things, wouldn't inform sales field of major changes that effected them to avoid "disruption". Would never recommend someone a job here, unless you like being miserable and overworked every day.

      Pros

      Excellent exposure to key cardiologists. Fun product to sell. Excellent patient interaction and opportunity to educate. Good potential earning for TOP reps.

      Cons

      Disconnected Senior Management. Unrealistic quota expectations. Underpaid internal support staff who are not qualified to do their job in the medical arena. Cheap company. Not an entrepreneurial spirit. Like to do things the way they have always been done. Reluctant to listen to field sales personnel and make small, realistic changes. Poor base salary for the level of experience they are expecting. Inability to hire good people because of company reputation.
