Pros

The company s life saving products

Cons

The company is stagnant and corrupt, its like a real life version of The Office. Senior Leaders lie and deceive, patient safety is secondary to selling goods, communication is non-existent and employees are deliberately kept in the dark.

Pros

Zoll is a good company to work for short time. Decent pay. Zoll has great potential to be a great company. Saves lives, car allowance.

Cons

I have been with the company for a few years. The amount of stress, constantly changing work roles, will not promote with in unless you are a manager RM favorite. Zoll is very check the box company. Vacation is 3 weeks, but on vacation you still have to work or you get behind and still get calls from your TM’s asking you to help them. So not really a vacation! You are judged for being a team player. No matter how hard you work your TM gets the credit, your TM makes a lot of money for the work you did. No raises you stay at the same salary, Many SSR’s have the ability and tools to do the TM job, but they will not promote you unless your an exception to the rule. They hire outside for a TM/SSR role with the promise you get to become a TM if you do well. No incentive for the current SSR who’s been with the company over 3 years. If you have done something wrong , but not knowingly with in the company your RM will make things harder, gossip, or you are passed up for positive encouragement, due to speculation of what they herd not by asking you what’s your side. The moral of Zoll is very low with in sales, Covid made it worse. Zoll tries to be a good company, but lack of communication is over and over nothing new. The incentive to better your team goes no where. The stress put on your plate is more than your family can deal with. You find yourself working late, during vacation so you can make your bonus Incentives. Very little life as your TM asks you on weekends to a job they should be doing it seems the TMs life is more important than the SSR’s life. No one wants to complain about it or tell the truth out of fear.

Pros

a few nice people here and there

Cons

Where do I begin? It is the most toxic environment of any place I have ever worked. The LifeVest division is run like a fiefdom and though they have been hiring experienced people, they won't listen to those people and insist they are wrong, when in fact they come with many years of industry experience. These people then walk out the door wishing they had never set foot inside LifeVest. It was complete living hell the entire time I was there. On my first day, two people left, that should have been the first clue. It was a continual revolving door up until the day I left. I have never seen such a lack of professionalism and frankly the person I worked for could only be described as a psychopath (the kind you read about existing in business but you don't believe actually exists). The benefits are not good, and the pay was just ok. They don't trust any employees and working from home is forbidden except in extreme emergencies and even then you never hear the end of it. You are not given the tools you need to do your job, but are expected to make it happen, even when impossible. They push vendors so hard that they cannot keep them and there is a complete lack of business ethics regarding vendors. It is no wonder that they cannot find good vendors to work with them. I spent most of my time begging vendors not to quit. There is a complete lack of accountability among management. What surprises me is that Chelmsford is either completely unaware of what goes on, or they just don't care. There is a huge issue with retention and turn over and they act like they can't figure out why. The environment is completely hostile and toxic and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. It was constant bullying by certain members of management and these people are used as henchmen for the higher level member of management. I've worked in both large and small companies and I have never seen anything like this.
