Pros

Opportunity to be exposed to every area of the business from Engineering to Finance. Ability to see your direct impact on the company's successes and failures. Organization is motivated to identify those things that move Zayo past the pitfalls that have impeded similar companies.

Cons

Rate of change can be hard to manage and tends to result in a less than optimal work to life balance.

Pros

Flexible hours/work from home possibilities, great people, fast paced environment, opportunities to learn new things, innovative ideas, teamwork, tuition reimbursement, folks have pride in what we are doing as a whole, customer service is still a high priority

Cons

Work/life balance for many is still skewed toward work. Changes not based on new revenue are slow to develop. There are too many management changes at once.

Pros

I have only been an employee for a short time, but I have been working for ZAYO for a number of years as a contractor. If you like a challenge and are ready to put on your big people pants, then there is on finer organization to work for.

Cons

All departments are not completely gelled together, there is a major disconnect between some groups of the organization. Particularly sales and construction, sales does their absolute best to provide a good market rate to the customers they are pursuing, but sometimes a simple call to the guys building the product in the markets they are selling would go a long way in keeping budgets and timelines on track.
