      Be a terrible employee, they will rehire you!

      Pros

      Doesn't matter what childish fit you throw or how you mess up, you can get rehired! Even if you are asked to not return to work because of your behavior, you can apply and get rehired at a different center (in the same area!).

      Cons

      You may have to talk to HR when you are really bad. Just cry and blame it on co-workers, you are forgiven.

      Good position for the right person

      Pros

      This is a great job that allows you to telework and they provide very comprehensive training before you go live and take calls from spouses. It’s also very rewarding to help spouses achieve their career and educational goals through apply for the scholarship.

      Cons

      Since it is telework you don’t have coworkers to help you. You can message coworkers but they may or may not get back to you. It’s also lonely at times being alone at home all day. You are also expected to work holidays and taking time off can be tricky.

Additionally, as a contracted support center we are open 365 days a year and we need to staff so that we are able to serve the military community and their families. We are happy to be able to provide floating holidays for those staff that do work holidays in support of our mission.

      Pros

      I am able to work remotely from home and have autonomy. Colleagues are friendly and supportive. Culture is excellent.

      Cons

      Monthly performance reviews are a bit much.
