Pros

Ziff Davis does many good things for their employees: a generous insurance package, various employee resources groups, an employee assistance fund, and a mentoring program, to name a few. For those working remotely they do pay up to $50 toward your internet bill, so long as you claim the expense.

Cons

The pay is not quite on par for the industry, for example, level 2 support starts at $40K/yr, with raises being merit-based only, and only up to 8%. Remote teams seem to be an afterthought when it comes to "in-office" benefits like team parties or provided snacks and drinks. In fact 2022 winter holidays were all but forgotten, with the exception of days off with holiday pay, meaning there were no 2022 Christmas/holiday parties.

Pros

- Collaborative environment - Dynamic environment with lots of autonomy - Interesting line of businesses to work on

Cons

- Resource constrained and lacks required resources in some areas - "Firefighting" competes with executing on longer term strategy
