Pros

The Ziff Davis team is inclusive and collaborative, with a good culture of folks. Accommodates nearly fully remote with main offices in NY & Austin. Good opportunity for career growth and learning skills, but promotions take a while. Work/life balance is great as well.

Cons

ZD is structured as an M&A (mergers and acquisitions) org., so there are regular wide layoffs with not much explanation other than "restructuring"

It’s a very flexible environment that allows fully remote options. A lot of good engineers scattered through ZD. Many curious people and leadership that promotes individual growth.

Cons

Compensation is fair but not top tier for tech and 401k match could be better.
