Pros

The flexibility of working from home is a major benefit and contributes positively to work-life balance.

Cons

The company does not consistently follow its own internal policies unless it is convenient for them. For example, despite stating security policies, they do not deploy proper cloud firewalls and instead rely on basic NAT gateways, which lack the ability to inspect or filter internet traffic. They also do not implement stateful inspection for inbound traffic, relying solely on a web application firewall for port 443. These gaps contradict their own stated security requirements. It’s concerning when policy is cited as grounds for termination while operational practices don’t align with those same standards.

Pros

FullContact (now a Ziff Davis Company) is a close-knit company where people genuinely care about each other’s success. There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and you’re empowered to work autonomously — managing your own book of business and driving results in a way that works best for you. Leadership fosters a collaborative environment, and colleagues are always willing to help.

Cons

Since being acquired by Ziff Davis, many of the promises tied to growth, support, and financial targets haven’t materialized. Raises and merit increases are minimal (less than 1% this year), falling far below even standard cost-of-living adjustments. There’s little clarity around career paths or advancement opportunities. It often feels like Ziff Davis is focused more on acquiring companies for optics than investing meaningfully in their long-term success. Meanwhile, teams are held to increasingly aggressive revenue targets without the necessary support — especially in today’s economy.
