      No Training... No Career... Nobody Cares.

      there is little to no micro-management

      Cons

      There is such little management that you can't discern your duties, which gets extremely frustrating since there is no training program. Working in constant wonder if you are doing well or not. No quarterly review, no nothing. Just a single 15-minute call per week where nothing is achieved.

The company offers career development resources, including our internal job posting board, as well as several learning and development courses. In addition to these resources, we also offer a tuition reimbursement program, where the company will help team members further their education and advance their skills at a lower cost. Ultimately, the responsibility to map out a personal career development plan belongs to the individual team member in conjunction with his/her manager — allowing them to create an achievable personal development plan that is tailored to your specific needs.

      Pros

      My boss is great. It makes a very big difference. The company really does do things in a consistent and thoughtful manner. They don't hesitate to invest in me. It's a very stable environment.

      Cons

      It is similar to being in the army: things are infuriatingly complex sometimes (so many systems, different campuses and SOPs), it's easy for incompetence to hide, and to make a common sense change can be a LONG time to accomplish, lots of layers of hierarchy. Some groups are not run well, and it is largely driven by their leadership. Over the last few years certain cross functional groups have had a brain drain as a result of how it was to work in them.

      - terrible leadership at the regional sales level - unsupportive HR department - manager texted, called, and emailed as early as 6AM and as late as 11PM - I had little time at home with my husband and two kids because my manager constantly wanted me at dinners and early morning cases.
