Pros

- newly formed senior leadership team is a mix of Zimmer and Biomet. Good selections made. - growing market outlook - if you live in northern Indiana it is a great option for employment.

Cons

- focus on cutting benefits/salary to control costs troubling trend - senior leadership team still seems concerned with Dvorak's dictates vs doing what makes sense for the business - David's trusted circle of advisors is still small and legacy Z. Time to shake it up a bit.

Pros

Extremely competitive salary, especially for the Indiana area Nice Technology (iphones, ipads, etc.) Great Benefits! 'Pockets' of Caring People

Cons

Too Warsaw-centric Not diverse (ethnic, thought or cultural) Top-heavy; most leadership invisible to employees in their ivory towers No real opportunity to influence change GE is king; don't bring anything other than GE ideas Not all, but a lot of people in the town and the employees are just plain mean and rude. Period.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company.

Cons

Terrible management Incompetent employees are promoted to positions beyond their ability. The business actively discourages employees from moving up. All of management is part of "The Good Ol' Boys Club" Pay is well below industry averages. Talent acquisition ignores well-qualified candidates in favor of "cheaper" candidates. For example, I have 20 years of med device QMS experience (15 of those years with Zimmer Biomet before being let go during downsizing), two Master's degrees in medical device fields, and a CQE, but I was rejected from consideration (without even a phone screen) for a Sr. Quality Engineer position with the company in favor of "other candidates who more closely match our needs for this position." Apparently they had candidates with more than 20 years experience and two graduate degrees. (I guarantee none of the candidates were even close to my qualifications).
