      Very disorganized - no direction

      Pros

      Salary is decent. Benefits are ok, but diminishing steadily. Work is interesting and meaningful. Austin employees are knowledgeable and friendly.

      Cons

      Communication is nonexistent. Not surprising that sales are so bad, the company seems aimless and top management is clueless. Employees are very dissatisfied and insecure. There is no trust in management.

      I would not recommend Zimmer Spine as a company to work for.

      Pros

      The opportunity to help people stay active and flexible. Enhancing the quality of life for people with debilitating spine disorders.

      Cons

      They can not keep good leadership team members long term. This has stifled their progress over the past ten years.

      Pros

      Meaningful work: Everyone in the organization has a positive impact on people's lives. Great products, made by dedicated employees. Great service provided by true professionals.

      Cons

      Senior management has no background in orthopedics. "GE" management style discounts the relationship factor in the orthopedic business. You can't take out the bottom 10-20% every year without huge losses. Current top 3 to 4 mangement levels do not have a clue.
