Pros

Great benefits, tons of PTO, lots of great coworkers. Lots of opportunity to move into different roles due to the fast growth.

Cons

Growing so fast that sometimes people are promoted with zero leadership experience. Departments are fairly siloed and don’t regularly share information or updates.

Thank you for sharing your experience as a Mid-Market Account Executive at Ziply Fiber. We're glad to hear you recognized the strength of our product and our commitment to expanding service in underserved areas. We also appreciate your honest feedback about training. You're right— new AEs are presented with a large amount of information in a short time. In response to your feedback and feedback from others in this role, we overhauled our onboarding process last fall, extending training across a 90-day period to provide a more manageable and effective learning experience. Our goal is to give new AEs the tools to make their first sale faster without feeling overwhelmed. We’ve introduced a weekly training checklist, completed jointly by Sales Managers and Trainers, to ensure consistency across the team. Ultimately, we want to create a supportive environment where our people can succeed, which requires continuous improvement. Appreciate the feedback!
