Pros

A lot of flexibility (working time, dress code); Since it's a small company you get to know everyone well

Cons

Management keeps pushing to get things quicker and better without providing the proper processes, training and resources to get the job done. Senior management promises customers unreasonable expectations.

Pros

Company is headed in a positive direction with lots of interest in RAVE and new offerings on the horizon. Acquisition by Zodiac Aerospace (end of 2012) is a very positive business move for the company and we have already experienced some of the benefits, including better healthcare rates and potential profit sharing. Company offers good work/life balance. For most, hours are very flexible. This could not be said of the company ~2 years ago when RAVE was launching, however management has improved and upper management is realizing that employees MUST be valued as employee morale is key to longevity and success. As an employee, I feel valued and I enjoy the challenging, fast-paced environment. You must be highly self-motivated to work here. Those who are unmotivated or unwilling to move at a fast pace will find themselves pigeonholed and not progressing in their career. Management is eager to offer advancement opportunities if you are hard-working, proactive, and independent. Finally, office space is very nice with free drinks and snacks. Culture-wise we are beginning to develop more of a family feel and greater camaraderie between employees. Attire is casual (jeans are acceptable). There is also little bureaucracy and most of upper management is approachable.

Cons

Onboarding is minimal and abrupt. Efforts are not made to integrate new employees well. Though the fast pace is challenging and exciting, when deadlines hit, the workload can be stressful and overwhelming. Do not work here if you do not thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. You must also take charge of your own career advancement. Little energy is spent on continuing training and development.
