Pros

People here are wonderful, friendly, mostly helpful, and fun to work with. The corporate office location is great. There is a mall across the street and a dozen choices for a place to eat. Schedules are fairly flexible and there is opportunity to work overtime if you choose. Zones has a few company sponsored events which are fun. For example: free admission to Emerald Downs every so often, discount tickets to some Mariners/Rainiers baseball games, end of quarter parties at Iron Horse Casino. They also provide gas vouchers for employees that carpool which can be helpful with gas prices these days.

Cons

If you are on Sales and do well then it can be a great place to work. If you are in support then there is less respect, recognition, appreciation, and comminication. Support is often overlooked and not included in sales type vents such as vendor sponsored breakfast in the lobby, vendor sponsored lunches for end of quarter, vendor fairs and so on. Senior management does not think as highly of support as they do sales. The pay is ridiculous. Someone who has a single income with children can barely make it with the wages paid for support positions. It has also been sad to see some very good, hard-working people let go in support due to outsourcing to India.

Pros

Good Location, near 2 highways. The personelle are the best to be around. Low or no weekend working, most hours are between 6am-5pm, with the exception of a few night time workers. They offer a Workout room facility and showers onsite. Firoz does make a point to walk the departments to see how things are running. They are working on sports teams for Zones employees. They offer car pooling vouchers but no discount bus passes. After a year of employment Zones offers a in house employee purcahse program to purchase computer products and have it taken out of 6 months of pay.

Cons

Health benfits and salary needs to be revamped and they need to offer and compensate with competitve salaries. Dedicated workers should be given different benefit packages for time off and vacations, then the current standards they are using. Promotions within and credit for hardwork is hard to come by, alot of the recognition is by popularity, not by the work quality being accomplished. Downsizing and outsourcing has become a morale issue. ould be nice to offer a cafeteria and a inhouse daycare facility. They need to bring back more unity within the departments and realize that support staff is just as important as the sales staff. The Metro needs to have better routes to Zones, Like a buss that runs off 167 or 18 would be nicer.

Pros

People are fun, its in doors. hours are flexible, getting time off is not hard to come by. Managers are nice enough. We get to be inside and watch the nice sun outside. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Cons

No real advancement oppurtinities, low pay for support. only the sales team gets paid decent. Moving all their jobs overseas. Some people being able to tele communicate from home where as others are not. Being told you can advance to another position, and when the time comes your manager backs out of their promise on it. Hm.Thats all for now
