Pros

If you buy into the theory that customers don't buy what you do but why you do it, then Zoom has the best WHY in their industry. Started by an unbelievably humble but extraordinarily intelligent man Zoom strives to deliver happiness to its customers. Happy customers = happy employees = exponential growth! Here are a few things I love about working at this company. 1) The culture - I've never worked at a place where people are always smiling and will stop what they are doing to introduce themselves (CEO included). Everyone is very willing to help, and I feel like being part of a team here rather than just a company. 2) Familiarity / Reputation - As an account manager who's sold plenty of products from companies you've never heard of, it's a breath of fresh air when speaking with prospects and strangers who know about your company and what you do. Even better, they LOVE the product! I always get stopped at the airport when wearing my Zoom t-shirt or backpack. 3) Office - if you've ever worked for a bay area tech company you will understand what I'm talking about. They have a good stock of snacks, amazing coffee machine, and even an infused water dispenser. To boot, they provide a lunch allowance for the awesome cafeteria downstairs for 4 days a week. 4) The Leadership- We work with genuine people, who listen to your concerns and implement action when necessary. There is no competition amongst managers, just a well-coordinated team executing on the plays. Finally the CEO, who after being surrounded when he concluded took time to answer everyone's questions after sincerely listening to what his employees had to say.

Cons

Onboarding is a little tough out of the gate because you are expected to produce right away while having to attend mandatory training meetings and complete mandatory training modules. Still, they are helpful and the discussions always leave you better than where you started, but they can really fill up a day.
